| Other educational facilities¹: | Allgemeinbildende Schulen 2018/19 (Landkreis Heidekreis) Grundschulen: Ortsnah gibt es verteilt über den Heidekreis 30 Grundschulen. Oberschulen: Standorte mit Oberschulen sind Bad Fallingbostel, Bispingen, Bomlitz, Hodenhagen, Neuenkirchen, Rethem (Aller), Soltau und Walsrode. Haupt- und Realschule: In Munster gibt es je eine Haupt- und eine Realschule. Gymnasien: Munster, Soltau und Walsrode sind Standorte von Gymnasien. Kooperative Gesamtschulen: In Schneverdingen und Schwarmstedt werden die Schülerinnen und Schüler an einer Schule in Hauptschul-, Realschul- und Gymnasialzweigen unterrichtet. Freie Waldorfschule: In Benefeld gibt es eine Freie Waldorfschule. Förderschulen: Förderschulen bestehen in Bad Fallingbostel, Schwarmstedt, Soltau und Walsrode. Berufsbildende Schulen 2018/19 (Landkreis Heidekreis) Der Heidekreis ist Schulträger für berufsbildende Schulen in Soltau und in Walsrode. Die beiden Schulstandorte halten ein breites Angebot von insgesamt über 100 Bildungsgängen in den Schulformen Berufseinstiegsschule, 1-jährige und 2-jährige Berufsfachschule, Berufsschule, Berufsfachschule mit beruflichem Abschluss, Fachoberschule, Fachschule und Berufliches Gymnasium vor. Die Volkshochschule Heidekreis bietet mit rund 600 Dozenten ein dezentrales Angebot für die Erwachsenenbildung. An 10 Standorten im Landkreis unterrichtet die Heidekreis Musikschule. Die Medienzentren des Landkreises mit Sitz in Soltau und Walsrode unterstützen die Bildungseinrichtungen mit ihrem breit gefächerten Angebot von analogen und digitalen Medien. Der Landkreis unterhält 4 Ortsbüchereien in Lindwedel, Hodenhagen, Bispingen und Neuenkirchen, die jeweils einmal pro Woche geöffnet haben. Außerschulische Jugendbildung wird auf dem Jugendhof Idingen in Form von Seminaren, Tagungen, nationalen und internationalen Jugendbegegnungen sowie Tages-, Abend-, und Wochenendveranstaltungen angeboten. Das Kreisarchiv in Bad Fallingbostel bietet heimatgeschichtlich Interessierten einen Einblick in die umfangreichen Aktenbestände, die durch Schriften nicht amtlicher Herkunft ergänzt werden. |
