| Leisure facilities: | The recreational offers are varied. In Detern there is a lake with a campsite and a mobile home area. Sporting facilities range from a skating rink and well-equipped playgrounds to a tennis hall. Water sports are also possible on the river Jümme. E.g. via the paddle and pedal station. Biking is very easy here. Filsum is attractive for equestrian sport. There are a number of possibilities. |
| Cultural facilities: | The cultural centre Detern is the "Ark", a meeting place and location for encounters. Also popular are small festivals, such as the annual Irish Folk Festival in Filsum. Artists unknown up to now also make a stop in Filsum on their tour through Germany. The visitors come from near and far. The castle garden is also popular in Detern. Stickhausen castle is a remnant of the past. There is a garden market every year that is known over and beyond the Jümme borders. |

Location description¹:
The Integrated Municipality of Jümme consists of the communities Detern, Filsum and Nortmoor. It has a favourable situation. On the one hand, intact, charming scenery in the Leda-Jümme area, and on the other hand, a convenient location for transport on the A 28 motorway and the B 72 federal trunk road on the edge of the county seat Leer. These are the conditions under which the municipalities have developed.
