Description
Since early 2025, the city of Leer has been developing additional areas of the industrial park to the west and south, thereby expanding its attractive range of sites for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Given the difficult, unstable soil conditions in the area, funds from the Joint Task “Improvement of the Regional Economic Structure (GRW)” to fund high-quality, business-related infrastructure projects by the federal and state governments, in order to make the sites suitable for development. The granting of these funds is subject to funding-related conditions regarding the allocation of the commercial lots. Therefore, the plan is to primarily attract businesses eligible for GRW funding. To this end, a public call for bids for the lots was issued at the beginning of 2024. The sales brochure and accompanying documents can be viewed and downloaded on the property’s website.
