Location description¹:
Hatten is a modern business location that is characterized in particular by medium-sized companies. Due to its location in the immediate vicinity of the city of Oldenburg, Hatten is well connected in terms of infrastructure and offers good transport links to Wilhelmshaven, Bremen, Osnabrück and Leer. The prices for land and commercial properties are below the regional average and the trade tax rate of 350% is also attractive.
The broadband expansion regulated by the district of Oldenburg is progressing every year and is currently concentrating increasingly on commercial areas in the district. Due to its rural structure, Hatten offers plenty of space, also for the expansion and purchase of renewable energies.
The municipality of Hatten is an excellent place to live and work in a rural location with perfect connections to the A28 and A29 highways, which link Hatten with the entire Northwest metropolitan region. The Jade-Weser Port can therefore be reached in less than an hour's drive. The economy in Hatten is characterized by medium-sized, mostly owner-managed businesses in a healthy mix of trade, production and services. Around 1,400 tradespeople are currently registered in the municipality, and the trend is rising.
There are now four business parks: The Sandkrug business park is located on the western edge of Hatten, directly at the Sandkrug exit of the A29. A little further west is the Gewerbehof. Two further business parks - the Munderloh business park and the new business park on Heidplackenweg - are located on the eastern side of Hatten in Munderloh in the immediate vicinity of the Kirchhatten exit of the A28.
