Since its foundation more than 25 years ago, the Bremen Technology Park has developed into one of the leading high-tech locations in Germany. As the center and heart of Bremen as a technology location, the 170-hectare technology park extends around the University of Bremen, which acts as a decisive driver of this development.
More than 500 companies with around 7,500 employees are based here. In addition, there is the University of Bremen with 3,400 employees and around 19,000 students as well as 20 research institutes with over 1,600 employees.
