Description
Im Gewerbeflächenkonzept des Landkreises Helmstedt 2024 ist diese verkehrsgünstig gelegene Potenzialflächen als mögliche Fortführung eines bestehenden Gewerbegebietes mit einem großen Logistikunternehmen ausgewiesen. Die in Frage kommenden Flächen befinden sich zwischen der Ortslage der Gemeinde Rennau und der Anschlussstelle 60 an der Bundesautobahn A2. Bei einem nachweislichen Flächenbedarf für eine Erweiterung sind die Möglichkeiten einer interkommunalen Zusammenarbeit zur planungsrechtlichen Umsetzung zu nutzen. Die Abstimmungen der unterschiedlichen Anforderungen an den Raum erfolgen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem zuständigen Regionalverband Großraum Braunschweig als Träger der Regionalplanung.
