Description
This area is listed as a potential area for development in the commercial area concept for the district of Helmstedt 2024. This potential area is the extension of the existing commercial area located to the east with the designation B-Plan "Kupfermühle/Fischersteg" of the town of Königslutter am Elm. The amendment to the land use plan has been completed, but there is no building permit yet. In future, the areas are to be available to medium-sized companies, among others, which enjoy the advantage of being able to integrate into existing local structures. The central location of the town of Königslutter, approx. 15 km to the medium-sized town of Helmstedt, approx. 20 km to the regional centers of Braunschweig and Wolfsburg, and its good transport connections (DB line Hanover/Berlin, B1, A2 A39 with connection to the A7 via the A39 and in future also to the A14) are good prerequisites for the continuation of the existing commercial settlements, in addition to the high profile of the cathedral town of Königslutter am Elm.
