Other educational facilities¹: | Neustadt a. Rbge (Neustadt am Rübenberge) has all types of schools, general education schools and those leading to further education. In the core urban area, a grammar school, a cooperative comprehensive school with all-day schooling, a secondary and a secondary modern school, and four primary schools can be attended. A further ten primary schools exist in the rural districts of the town. The modern vocational training centre in Neustadt a. Rbge. has around 2,900 students and 160 teaching staff; within the dual training system it enjoys good collaboration with the business and industrial community and offers excellent initial and further training at both the regional and supraregional levels in practically all occupational fields. In the adult education domain, the HannoverLand Volkshochschule, which is based in the town, offers a diversity of further training opportunities. |

Cultural facilities: | The most important cultural institutions in Neustadt a. Rbge. include the music school and the youth art school as well as an art association with an art library. The theater and concert circle offers performances by touring theaters and concerts in the high school auditorium. The cultural center of the city is Landestrost Castle, built in the Weser Renaissance style, where concerts, exhibitions, author readings and cabaret performances are held. |
