Münden, the "Gollong-Haus" village museum in Staufenberg Nienhagen, the European Bread Museum, and the Wilhelm Busch Mill in Ebergötzen. |
Sport facilities: | The four long-distance cycling trails Weser, Fulda, Werra and Leine run along stimulating river and hiking routes through picturesque towns and villages in the District of Göttingen. Those who love water are particularly drawn to the Rivers Fulda, Werra, Leine and Rhume, the Seeburger See (Lake Seeburg), the Wendebach Reservoir (Wendebachstausee) and the Rhume Spring (Rhumequelle). But it is not only water sport enthusiasts who will find excellent conditions. The broad spectrum of sports facilities extends from sports and multi-purpose halls that can be used in a diversity of ways, sports grounds with athletics facilities, indoor and outdoor swimming baths, shooting ranges, tennis courts, equestrian arenas, bowling alleys and minigolf courses up to a golf course. |
