Special location features¹ | | The administrative district of Frisia (Friesland) is part of the Bremen - Oldenburg Metropolitan Region and lies within the so-called logistics triangle formed by Wilhelmshaven, Bremerhaven and Bremen. In terms of transport infrastructure, the district is accessed by the motorway A 29, a network of well-developed federal trunk roads, country highways and district roads, and the Oldenburg - Wilhelmshaven rail line. Mariensel Airfield, a commercial airfield of regional significance, and the deepwater port in Wilhelmshaven are in the immediate vicinity. Alongside its good traffic links and its large pool of qualified and highly motivated labour, the district of Frisia also offers optimal infrastructure conditions for the settlement of industrial and service companies. There are inexpensive industrial and commercial sites available for businesses wanting to locate here. |
