Special
location features¹
The administrative district of Diepholz is a modern business location with an efficiently performing industry and a modern, future-oriented service sector. Diepholz is one of the largest districts in the region with almost 2,000 sq.km. and 215,000 inhabitants. Bordered by the federal states of Bremen and North-Rhine Westphalia, it occupies the centre of Lower Saxony. Thanks to the good infrastructure, a climate favourable to entrepreneurial activity and low location costs, the district of Diepholz offers advantageous conditions for new company settlements.
The positive population trend within the district can be particularly attributed to the high quality of life, the large number of leisure and recreational facilities, and the dynamically growing economic structure.
