GewiNet – Competence Centre for the Healthcare Sector
The healthcare competence centre GewiNet - Kompetenzzentrum Gesundheitswirtschaft e.V. provides the platform for a health sector network in the Weser-Ems region. More than 90,000 people work in clinics, medical practices and healthcare companies in this region. Public health facilities are based here that enjoy a reputation and significance over and beyond the immediate region. At the universities and tertiary colleges in Osnabrück and Oldenburg, scientists conduct research in health economics, the health sciences, medical technology, and many other relevant fields. Through the networking of all those involved, the aim is to achieve synergies that benefit not only the protagonists themselves but also the patients.
HörTech Competence Centre for Hearing Aid Systems
Through HörTech, private-sector companies and institutions involved in the process of research and development as well as universities and research institutes can realise projects for the (further) development of hearing-aid system technology and associated products alone or in joint endeavours in pre-competitive cooperation. In addition, HörTech develops and markets products that arise from the projects or are derived from the project results or other research activities.
